Taking in approximately 250km of terrain competitors will mountain bike, kayak and trek a daily course. Along the way competitors will be challenged to other activities including such things as abseiling and whitewater rafting - designed to push competitors and take them outside their comfort zone.

Each day competitors return to base camp where they rest, recover and enjoy a communal meal featuring some of the best local produce before heading to their tents for a much needed night's sleep ahead of the next day's course.

The event is run with a full support crew of staff including medics, safety officers, chefs, team hosts, massage therapists, drivers and equipment mechanics.

While enjoying the home comforts of camp, competitors are also treated to some of the most modern equipment available which comes fully supplied to teams including mountain bikes, camping equipment, kayaks and race clothing.

The Mark Webber Pure Tasmania Challenge is a premium event designed to give competitors a truly rewarding experience while pushing their individual and team limits.
